It is highly recommended to read the mod description before playing! The mod is designed for powerful systems and requires a high-performance PC. The mod's performance depends on your hardware. The mod supports multiplayer. The history of the SPCN: The system of rooms under Pripyat is quite extensive, including sewers, collectors, bunkers, railway tunnels, and basements, all connected by transition tunnels, forming a vast system known as the SPCN (Special Purpose Complex Network). From the very beginning of the construction of the city of Pripyat in 1970, the tunnels began to take shape, gradually forming an extensive network that was also connected to the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. In 1973, the construction of civilian bomb shelters began, which are now known as PBN (Special Purpose Underground Bunker). There are two PBNs on the map: PBN-1 and PBN-2. PBN-1 is the largest and most important bunker in Pripyat. There were important people working for the KGB, including the architect of almost all the tunnels, Bakaitis Khariton Vyacheslavovich. PBN-1 includes all the necessary rooms and equipment: a ventilation system, electricity distribution to the bunker and nearby tunnels, sleeping quarters, a dining room, storage facilities, control of all the airtight doors and hatches of the bunker and nearby tunnels, emergency exits, and more. PBN-2 is a smaller bunker with similar rooms. In 1981, employees of the KGB and other military enterprises began using the network of tunnels and two bunkers for illegal purposes, such as studying hazardous and biologically dangerous materials, reagents, and radiation for further experiments and the sale of raw materials. During peacetime, the bunkers served as laboratories for studying and experimenting with radiation, as well as for the strict detention of dangerous prisoners, with two rooms converted into detention centers. The Chernobyl disaster did not significantly impact the operations in the underground city, but the situation deteriorated significantly. 5/6 of all the tunnels continued to operate. On December 26, 1991, with the collapse of the USSR and the final termination of funding for the organization managing the tunnels, operations came to a near-complete halt. By January 2, 1992, the last person had left the SPCN, all the passages were sealed, the tunnels were mothballed, and all the hazardous materials and important documents remained there to this day. The tunnels are now open, but few people are willing to venture inside. There are rumors that there is still some life there. There are rumors that in the depths, behind the rubble, you can sometimes hear the hum of working filters, and on the rusty control panels, lonely diodes flash, as if the system, despite everything, continues to carry out its last, uncanceled command: "Save. Wait." But it seems that there is no one left to wait for. There are several ways to get into the SPCN: through the slanted entrance at the starting position Differences from the version in the mod "Pripyat 2":
