SPC-U/7 is a large network of tunnels and bunkers (PBSN-1 and PBSN-2) under Pripyat, connected to the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant. Since 1981, the KGB has been using them for secret experiments and detainees. After the collapse of the USSR in 1991, the system was mothballed, leaving hazardous materials inside. Despite the official closure, there are rumors that the automation is still working, waiting for the final command.
