Mud System Physics is an advanced physics mod for Farming Simulator 25, which completely rethinks the interaction of machinery with the soil during rainy weather.
What does the mod do?
The mod adds a dynamic mud system that affects:
- Wheel behavior
- Adhesion to the surface
- Visual effects
- Cross-country ability of vehicles
- The condition of fields and soil
Every ride in the rain or across a wet field is a risk of getting stuck, and it's not just a pretty picture...

"Realistic" mud physics
Dirt is calculated based on humidity in real time!
Wheels can:
- slip
- Lose traction
- Getting stuck in the mud
The heavier the equipment, the higher the risk of getting stuck.
Interaction with fields
Mud behaves differently on different types of soils, for example, plowed fields are the most viscous!
The ability to remove vegetation in deep mud (optional)
Flexible settings!
The mod is fully customizable through the game menu.:
- turning on/off the mud system
- the strength of the viscosity effect
- the effect of rain
- visual effects
- removal of vegetation
- And much more. (more than 20 different controls and switches)
All parameters can be changed on the fly, without restarting the game.
In version 1.0.3.0:
- Improved HUD. (Thanks to Sergey RMG)
- Some aspects of the script have been reconfigured. (Now dirt on all types of field soil should stick normally)
- An option for selecting HUD icons has been added to the game settings
- Added the ability to select the position of the mod icons by setting the coordinates on the screen
- Added Spanish translation
Known issues: Some players have missing mod settings in the general settings. (It is still unclear why. I did not find a conflicting mod)
ATTENTION! IF YOU WANT TO FEEL THE CHANGES OF THE UPDATE, BE SURE TO RESET THE MOD SETTINGS BY CLICKING IN SETTINGS.,
