This is an application for configuring the ECU in BeamNG. It works on almost any car, with any engine or turbine. It is built on the principle of a real chip tuning stand, but the main goal is training. The settings are based on real tables. Color-coded tables of fuel, ignition, boost, and lambdas are available. You can select groups of cells and change them by adding, subtracting, scaling as a percentage, filling, smoothing, interpolating, copying, and pasting. The base and difference map display modes are available, the active cell shows the current position of the engine on the map, as well as a three-dimensional representation of the table. The real-time page displays all engine operation parameters: lambda, detonation, nozzle bore, fuel pressure, intake temperature and engine status, with alarms in case of deviations. The built-in dynamometer stand allows you to evaluate the tuning results. After completing the measurement, you get the power and torque curves, and the first measurement is saved as a base for comparison with subsequent ones. The "Learning / Lessons" button launches the step-by-step guide. The car is set up for the lesson, and the sequence of actions is shown with an explanation of each step. In version 3.1.4: Idle mode with "rotary" sound (Rotary idle): available in a simple or manual version. The simple mode works with two sliders, as before. The manual mode allows you to adjust the idle speed yourself by changing the corresponding cells in the fuel and ignition tables (as in the old versions). You can also set higher target idle speeds (up to 3,000 rpm) for engines running at high RPM XX. Synchronization of the "shooting" with the sound of the car exhaust: The regular sounds of "shooting" are now played simultaneously with the natural pops in the car's exhaust system — when the gas is released, gear changes and the speed limiter are triggered. You can choose to play both sounds together or use only standard samples (replacing the car sound with them). The feature works with active settings and can be disabled on the "Pops & Bangs" page. Staged injection: For engines equipped with more than one nozzle per cylinder or rotor (for example, RX-7 and RX-8 rotary motors). The primary injectors operate independently at low load, and the secondary injectors are connected as the load increases — just like in real systems with phased injection. The connection points and the performance of the secondary injectors are configured on the new "Staged Injection" page. If the performance of the secondary injectors is incorrectly adjusted, the composition of the mixture will change exactly at the moment they are connected — just like in a real car. Also added: default axis settings. Save your preferred axles for fuel and ignition tables once, and they will be used for all new cars. Custom Bypass Valve Sounds (BOV): Select a new blow-off valve sound and adjust its volume on the Boost Control page. Credits: OrlandoEdits |
