The T58 was a prototype American heavy tank armed with a 155 mm self-loading cannon. Developed in the 1950s on the M103 chassis, it used an unusual swinging turret and was designed to defeat heavily armored Soviet tanks. Eventually, the project was cancelled before it entered service.
