The Pegaso Troner was presented at an exhibition in Barcelona in May 1987, although its sales began in October of the same year. The first version was the 1236 (4×2), it had a 360 hp engine, with a 12-liter and 24-valve engine, which was already used in Tecno, but with modified cylinder heads, Twin-Flow.
