The International Harvester Company (IH) was formed in 1902 from the merger of the McCormick Harvesting Machine Company and the Deering Harvester Company.
The company had several early models of tractors. In 1924, Farmall revolutionized tractor design with the introduction of the three-wheeled inline tractor.
He could not only plow, but also perform precise work, such as cultivating the land, which was a real innovation at that time.
The agricultural division of International Harvester merged with JI Case Company in 1985. Devices are still manufactured under the Case IH brand.

The 86 series from "International Harvester" was produced from 1976 - 1981 at the IH plant in Rock Island, Illinois, USA, in total 47,420 models of this series rolled off the assembly line there.
International 86 was mainly sold on the North American market. In Europe, this tractor was not available, since the manufacturer had its own models produced by Neuss (Germany) (1056, 1255, 1455, etc.).
Along with John Deere, International Harvester was one of the top selling tractor brands in the 1970s and 1980s, and there was often a small brand war between these brands ("Team Green" or "Team Red").
From a technical standpoint, what was innovative about the 86 Series was that for the first time it was designed to have a full cab and put the driver at the heart of the tractor.
This makes the tractor look relatively short, but it actually has almost the same wheelbase as comparable models from other manufacturers that were available on the market during its production years.
The tractor has a 16-speed manual transmission and power steering. Engine power ranges from 95 to 179 hp. and is provided by a 6-cylinder International Harvester diesel engine with a working volume of 6.8 liters.
The 86 series was replaced by the 88 series in 1981, bringing some improvements and a new hood design.
