In FS22, vehicles are basically defined larger (in XML) than they really are.
With AD, this causes vehicles on roads with a short (lateral) distance to be recognized as a collision, even if there is still enough space between them.
To avoid this, front, rear, left and right collisions are defined for all parts belonging to the vehicle.
To this end, all attachments of the full combination are measured when entering the vehicle, starting the AD or after folding the AD (mixing of unmeasured and measured vehicles is normal and is not a malfunction).
Only vehicles, trailers and attachments that do not have parts with the ability to rotate around a vertical axis are measured.
For example, turntable trailers have a yaw-rotating bogie that can also stand "spinned".
If the measurement were taken now, the outside collision would be a turned cart with a drawbar that is much "wider" compared to the towed trailer.
Now an objection might arise: "But you can also measure when the trailer is at some point straight ahead", save, load, etc. -> more complex always goes...!
Currently, 20 cm of "safety clearance" is still added to the outside.

CP uses AD to refuel, repair and park #351, #433, #494 and #519.
AD manages refueling and repairs at the request of the CP, but the CP settings have priority.
Attention: harvesters are also sent for repair and refueling, incl. current investment!
In the "Acceptance/Delivery" mode, the road train is unloaded from the field work checkpoint at the end of work before parking, if "Parking at the end" is activated in the AD.
AD only activates in reasonable modes if the wrong mode is selected -> notification.
Example: Driving is useless, for example. planters, but can be used for a "ready message".
