The Diamant 2000 is one of the most powerful self—propelled sawmills in the world. Founded in Germany in 2006, ALBACH Maschinenbau GmbH began production of the Silvator 2000, a heavy—duty self-propelled sawmill with a maximum speed of 50 km/h. After continuous improvements by Silvator, in 2014, ALBACH introduced the Diamant 2000 with a new transmission and rotor concept, as well as improved dimensions for better mobility. In 2019, the Diamant 2000 was licensed for use on German motorways, which increased its top speed to 80 km/h.
