Serial production of the Gigant began in 1976 and ended 13 years later.
The Gigant was originally designated Z060. Shortly after that, even before the start of mass production, the Z061 model joined it. The main difference was the hydrostatic undercarriage.
In 1984, one of the copies of the 1980 Z061 was converted at the factory and received the designation Z062.
