The lightweight and compact engine features a single-lever cylinder head, electronic injection, and a programmable central control unit for various riding styles.
The dual exhaust system distributes mass, improving the center of gravity and providing more power.
To achieve an ideal chassis design, the CRF 450R frame is approximately 650 g lighter than the previous generation and has thicker side elements. The chassis has also become more responsive thanks to the side stiffness adjustment, so the bike enters and exits turns faster!
