The 1996 Dodge Ram 7500 was developed in Mexico. These trucks were available in various trim levels, both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive. The 6500 and 7500 models were part of the Mexican second-generation Dodge Ram line, known for its powerful engines and tow capability.

1996 Dodge Ram 6500/7500:
Engine Options: These trucks were offered with a variety of engines, including a 5.9-liter Cummins diesel, an 8.0-liter V10, and various V8 gasoline engines.

Transmissions:
They were available with both manual and automatic transmissions. The NV4500 5-speed manual transmission was a popular option, while the NV5600 6-speed manual transmission was a desirable option.

Towing:
The 6500 and 7500 models were known for their reliable towing capabilities, as well as the ability to install an enhanced cooling system and transmission.

Specifications:
Features such as fast-gear power steering, rear-wheel anti-lock braking system and enhanced cooling system, as well as trailer wiring harnesses and Class IV traction devices were available.

In version 1.0.0.3:
- Added the ability to adjust the coupling device.
- Fixed all the details of the floating transport.
- The truck can now tow all game trailers except the three-point trailer hitch, provided a suitable hitch is installed.
- Fixed the overlap of models.
- The distance between the rear wheels has been changed.
- All coupling devices are adjustable with the mouse.
- Added another 1,000 pounds of weight. The truck now weighs 9,269 pounds to better stay on the road at full load/weight speed.
