VAZ-2108 "Sputnik" (colloquially called "eight") is a Soviet and Russian front-wheel drive car of the II group of a small class with a hatchback type body. Developed and serially produced at the Volga Automobile Plant in 1984-2004. It was a basic model in the Lada Sputnik family of models. Since 2004, on the assembly line, the car has been replaced by the VAZ-2113 model.
