Subaru Legacy is a mid-size sedan or off-road wagon of the Japanese company Subaru, produced since 1989, supplied to the international market since 1990. In Australia, the car is named Liberty in homage to an Australian organization called Legacy, which helps veterans and their families affected by war and after war. More than 3.6 million Legacy vehicles have been produced since production began in 1989, according to a Subaru press release in Autoblog in November 2008. In the US, the Legacy competes with Toyota Camry, Honda Accord, Mitsubishi Galant and Nissan Altima. Cars Subaru Legacy, like other models of the Subaru brand, participated and won in many international competitions: Subaru Legacy was recognized as the Car of the Year in Japan (2003-2004) [2].
