People have been asking for a proper snorkel mod for years, and the few that exist are only compatible with one specific car. This is the first truly UNIVERSAL snorkel: real, visible snorkel details on 27 vanilla cars, plus an invisible backup system that protects ANY vehicle in the game, including mods.
Drive into the river. As long as the water remains below the opening of your snorkel, the engine will continue to run. As soon as the water reaches the hole, the engine starts to flood and a hydroудар occurs, just like in real life. Choose a snorkel for the depth you're willing to risk.
THREE SIZES ON EVERY SUPPORTED CAR
• 1. Small snorkel - hole at the level of the ROOF (~2 m). Classic safari view, you can drive up to the roof.
• 2. Medium snorkel - 3 m mast. Is the water higher than the roof? No problem.
• 3. High snorkel - 5 m mast for extreme crossings. You can stand at the bottom of the lake and keep the speed steady.
All three are physical parts: a black pipe on the right post with an angled intake, fasteners that break in accidents (tear them off a tree and deep water will become your enemy again).
27 SUPPORTED VEHICLES
D-Series, Roamer, Hopper, H-Series Van, Wydra, Grand Marshal, Moonhawk, Barstow, Bluebuck, Burnside, Miramar, LeGran, Lansdale, Wendover, Bastion, Covet, Pessima (old and new), Sunburst, Vivace, ETK 800 / I-Series / K-Series, Piccolina, Bolide, SBR4, Scintilla.
On the D-Series, Roamer, Van, and Hopper, the dimensions appear in the vehicle's own "Snorkel" slot, next to the standard snorkel.
WORKS ON ANY OTHER CAR TOO (INCLUDING MODS)
The mod also includes an invisible "virtual snorkel" system for cars without a snorkel: assign a single key (Settings > Controls > Vehicles > "Cycle snorkel mode") and toggle Off (Off) / Small (hood) / Medium (roof) / Tall (mast over the roof) / Max (fully waterproof) on ANY car. Your setting is remembered and automatically applied to new spawned cars.
HOW TO USE (visible snorkel)
1. Spawn a supported vehicle and open the parts selection (vehicle configuration).
2. D-Series / Roamer / Van / Hopper: open the vehicle's own "Snorkel" slot.
All other supported vehicles: Additional Modification > "Snorkel (Right A-Pillar)".
3. Select 1. Small (2 m), 2. Medium (3 m), or 3. Tall (5 m).
4. Find deep water. Look at the intake — everything is fine below it, but if it's at or above the level, the engine is sinking.
HOW TO USE (any other car / mods)
1. Settings > Controls > Transport > assign "Cycle snorkel mode".
2. Press it in any car: Off > Small > Medium > Tall > Max. The screen displays messages about the current mode and a warning when your snorkel goes underwater.

• In BeamNG, only the intake position matters for flooding — the exhaust position doesn't matter underwater, and this is the game's default behavior.
• An engine that has already suffered a water hammer remains dead — the snorkel prevents damage but doesn't repair it.
• The placement on some vehicles is still being refined — if the snorkel looks strange on your favorite vehicle, please share a screenshot in the discussion, and it will be fixed.
