This is a recreation of the "Black River, Michigan" map from the SnowRunner game for BeamNG.drive. The project transfers the layout, scale, shape of the terrain, water obstacles, mud, forests and the feeling of slow off-road using BeamNG.drive's own systems and assets. Direct meshes and SnowRunner textures are not used.
The map includes:
Complete relief of the Black River in 1:1 scale on the 4096×4096 elevation map (～4 km2)
Passable roads all over the map
95% of rivers, lakes, ponds, swamps and water crossings
A working mud model with real depth
Numerous environment objects from BeamNG.drive assets (about 900,000)
Dense forests and detailed natural surroundings
The map is fully passable and playable. The environment is as close as possible to the original Black River.
