Construction Helper improves the process of building placement by providing accurate coordinate mapping and advanced anchoring capabilities.
features:
• Real-time display of coordinates (X, Z position and rotation) in the HUD of construction with an accuracy of 3 decimal places
• Configurable position binding steps: 0.1m, 0.25m, 0.5m, 1.0m, 2.5m, 5.0m
• Customizable rotation binding steps: 1°, 5°, 10°, 15°, 30°, 45°
• Local/Relative Snap mode — The entire grid rotates along with the corner of the building for perfect parallel alignment at any turn
DEFAULT KEY SETTINGS:
• LALT + 1: Position anchor switching — position grid resizing
• LALT + 2: Switching the rotation anchor — changing the pitch of the rotation angle
• LALT + 3: Switching the local anchor mode — switching between anchoring to the world grid and relative to the building
All key settings can be changed in Settings > Management.
GLOBAL AND LOCAL BINDING MODE:
• Global mode: The building is anchored to the X/Z world coordinate grid (best suited for placement at an angle of 90°)
• Local mode: The entire anchor grid rotates with the building — objects placed in the same local grid coordinates will form perfectly parallel lines in world space regardless of the angle of rotation. Ideal for creating aligned rows of buildings at any angle (30°, 45°, 60°, etc.)
HOW THE LOCAL MODE WORKS:
If you place several objects with the same rotation angle (for example, 30°), they will align in straight lines parallel to each other. The grid rotates rigidly with the building, so objects placed in local grid coordinates (3,0), (6,0), (9,0), they will form a straight line at an angle of 30° in world space. |
