A redesign of the weather system, mainly focused on snow.
Features:
- Adds 3 new "catastrophic" weather events: snowstorms, droughts and extremely thick fog
- A new grass moisture system that dries the raked grass into hay over time
- Expands the information display in the upper right corner, adding information about temperature, upcoming disasters and the predicted amount of snow
- Adds the mechanics of humidity to fields; Each type of crop has an ideal range of humidity, being in this range increases yields
- Humidity is constantly changing depending on sunlight, temperature and precipitation
- Crops with extremely low humidity will wither
- Hail will now cause damage and wear to vehicles left outside.
- The physics of the wheels has changed significantly
- The maximum amount of snow has been doubled
- Livestock will leave "footprints" in deep snow (only on high-performance systems)
- Snowstorms:
--- Snowstorms are rare events that cause significant snowfall in a short period of time, causing snow up to 1 meter high.
--- Temperatures during snowstorms can drop to -15 degrees Celsius
--- The snow is likely to stay much longer.
- Droughts:
--- Droughts lead to intense heat, which will lead to rapid loss of moisture in the fields
- The fog:
--- Very thick fogs can occur where visibility is extremely low for 14 hours.
- Physics of wheels:
--- The friction for all types of wheels has been changed to be much more realistic
--- Friction will now decrease more realistically depending on the condition of the road and vehicle, including the weight of the vehicle, the amount of snow and the humidity of the snow
--- Braking time now depends on friction and the number of wheels; less friction will result in a longer braking time, while more wheels will result in a faster braking time.
--- The wheels will gradually destroy the snow more realistically, depending on the weight of the wheel, the amount of snow and the humidity of the snow
--- Heavier vehicles will get bogged down in the snow much more than lighter ones; sunken vehicles can become completely stuck.
--- As a result, driving cars and heavy machinery in heavy snowfall will be almost impossible, therefore special vehicles are required, for example, vehicles with tracks.
- Grass humidification system:
--- After stirring the mown grass, it will eventually dry out and turn into hay, depending on its moisture content
--- The mowed grass has its own individual moisture content depending on the humidity of the field when it was mowed
--- The disturbed grass will gain/lose moisture at a different rate than the fields
--- A new information window when standing on the tilled grass, showing its moisture, the required moisture and the need for tilling (currently disabled in MP)
--- Please keep in mind that this function in its current state may cause a delay in entry-level systems or in very large fields
In version 1.1.0.0:
- A new cell system has been added covering the entire map, each cell has its own unique humidity and moisture retention based on the surrounding cells (cells ranging in size from 4x4 to 15x15 depending on the characteristics of the PC)
- Re-enabled and improved crop wilting at low humidity
- Crops can now wither in small patches based on the moisture content of their cells.
- Now the crop has a fluctuating wilt rate every 4 hours
- 2 new irrigation systems have been added; irrigation of fields through the context menu (paid daily) and irrigation with sprayers
- Now the sprayers can be filled with water, which will give 4 times more moisture when watering
- Added automatic drying of grass -> hay depending on humidity, details above
- Bales left outside during the rain will now slowly lose their contents depending on the amount of precipitation.
- Added 12 new ambient sounds, including new sounds for snowstorms, varying amounts of precipitation, hail, birds and crickets.
- Reduced moisture requirements for sugar cane and sugar beet
- Fixed unsynchronization of humidity in MP
- Fixed some weather events that were out of sync in MP
- Fixed the error "attempt to index zero with "temperature"" |
