What if the storm stops being just a visual effect?
Lightning flashes across the sky, thunder shakes the surroundings - but this time something else happens. This mod goes beyond light and sound: the storm actively interferes with the gameplay, forcing you to adapt.
GIANTS once rejected one of my ideas just because I dared to create something unusual. This time I will not explain anything.
Let the storm answer for me.
I created this mod for my own enjoyment and according to my personal vision. My goal is to recreate realistic situations.
Regular updates are planned, as I still have many ideas. Let's expand the boundaries of the GIANTS engine's capabilities...
In version 1.1.1.4:
- Electric poles, power lines, and radio towers have a 40% higher target priority than houses.
- Lightning suspends GIANTS AI, CoursePlay, or AutoDrive without deleting the saved task.
- The engine and lighting of the train remain disabled during the entire shutdown.
- After the lights are turned on, the engine remains forced to stop for an additional five seconds.
- Multiple damaged AI vehicles restart at random intervals of 1-15 seconds.
- The previous task or ride resumes five seconds after the engine is restarted.
- One short and one slightly longer beep, as well as two flashes of the high beam, announce the resumption.
- A full cache of placed light sources is created before the game begins.
- The first 30 seconds of light source detection and frame-based cache expansion have been removed.
- Light source cache processing can no longer overlap with the first CoursePlay launch. |
