Welcome to the Shores of Lake Michigan. This fictional map is roughly based on the northwestern tip of the Lower Peninsula of Michigan. Here you will find a rather difficult task of farming. Sandy soil near the lake and extreme weather conditions will test your farming skills.
If farming becomes too difficult or the weather lets you down, there is always the option to switch to forestry. Here in the north you will find extensive forests suitable for logging. It won't be easy either because of the steep terrain.
The amazing scenery of the shores of Lake Michigan makes up for the complexity of the environment. This map has many new and unique features. There are many different farming options, including dairy farming, traditional crop production, orchards,
greenhouses, and even an apiary for honey collection. In total, 43 fields and 113 agricultural lands can be purchased.
The game has five ready-made farms that can be purchased. The main farm is designed for growing crops, and also includes a small sheepshed and a chicken coop. An alfalfa field has already been sown on the main farm to feed the sheep. The other three farms are dairy farms, varying in size, and one of them has a separate pasture with water buffaloes.
The last finished farm is a rustic style farm with old buildings. It is also possible to purchase individual houses if you want to start from scratch or simply improve your home.

If you have the Highlands add-on, you will have access to the boat. It cannot be sold, and if it is discarded, it will not return to its starting point. In multiuser mode, only the host will have access to it. All other players will not be able to access the boat. It will be under the map for them.
You can go boating or fishing on Lake Michigan.
I hope you enjoy the map.
I would like to express my special gratitude to IKAS FanModding for the opportunity to use these wonderful buildings, MrHector Mods for permission to use the gardens and cowshed, and InsaneSimGuy for permission to use its silo to create a village farm.
Also, many thanks to InsaneSimGuy for helping me create this map and my first map. This is my second card, but I still have a lot to learn.
