Vehicle Records v1.3 (0.39.x)
0 174 24

This mod for BeamNG.drive adds a new interface that tracks your vehicle's data and personal records for each vehicle.

What is displayed:
- Maximum speed reached;
- Number of accidents;
- Number of rollovers;
- Longest jump;
- Hardest crash;
- And other statistics.

Other features:
Data for each vehicle and each configuration is saved separately. You can set personal records for each vehicle you drive;
You can export data in various formats;
You can create a clean screenshot report, for example, for use in a video or publication.

In version 1.3:
- The 0-100 km/h acceleration is measured automatically. Stop completely, step on the gas, and the time will be recorded. Stopping, backing up, or crashing will cancel the race.
- The braking distance from 100 km/h is measured automatically. Slow down below 100 km/h on the brake and stop completely; if you touch the gas, the race will not be counted.
- Clean Streak is the longest distance traveled without a single accident.
- New records include jump height, time in the air, total mileage, total drift time, and the number of landed jumps.
- Each record remembers the map on which it was set, which is displayed next to the date.
- Sorting the table: by maximum speed, acceleration, braking, jump, time in the air, impact force, clean series, mileage, or accidents. The top 3 are marked with medals.
- "By model" mode: all configurations of a single car are summarized in a single row.
- Comparison tab: two cars side by side for all indicators, with the best value highlighted.
- 15 achievements for each car. The achieved ones are highlighted, while the remaining ones remain as goals. They are calculated based on statistics, so old records are counted immediately.
- A notification about a new record appears even when the panel is closed. It can be disabled using the POPUPS button.
- The widget adjusts to its size: if it is stretched, it fills the space with the second row of indicators, the current trip row, and the footer with mileage and achievements.
- Detailed logging for diagnostics (beamng.log).
Fixes:
- AI-controlled traffic and cars no longer write to your records. Previously, their crashes, speeds, and overloads were recorded on the car you were driving, while the car you had just switched to continued sending data.
- The impact force and maximum overload are realistic again. Both were calculated based on adjacent frames, so they depended on the FPS and could reach hundreds of G.
- Less false crashes: physics failures are no longer counted as impacts.
- Taking a screenshot no longer suspends the game for several seconds.
- Props are no longer tracked. Previously, road cones, barrels, and walking mode had their own records.
- Cars that didn't record anything are no longer cluttering the list.
- The odometer could count a section twice when switching between cars.
- Fixed a panel that would freeze after opening certain tabs: the buttons wouldn't respond, and the tab's underline and km/h - mph highlight would get stuck.
- Fixed an endless stream of notifications about records while driving. Records that grow continuously are now announced once per ride.
- The drop-down lists were not displayed in the game, which made it impossible to select a car for comparison. Now they are displayed inside the game.
