The Russian voice of the navigator — Mikhail The rally navigator in the game speaks only English. This mod adds a full-fledged Russian voice. All commands that the game can issue are covered: steepness, length and shape of turns, distances, trajectory and cut hints, warnings, jumps and ridges, as well as system messages before and during the special stage. Voice The lines were generated by cloning a sample of the author's voice, and then checked one at a time: each clip was transcribed back and compared with what he was supposed to say, so that not a single command contains an extra word. The accents are also not left to the discretion of the model — they are manually placed in all 180 lines. What the user gets 180 clips, full coverage. The package is based on a set of phrases that the game itself announces, and each necessary clip is checked for availability before recording the archive. First, the direction. The commands are formulated the way they are read by Russian crews — the direction before the steepness. The terminology has been verified. Russian Russian passnotes do not have an official standard for pronouncing them — the RAF regulates the road book, not what the navigator says — so the vocabulary was checked against the established Russian rally usage. Which style should I choose Casual — easy / medium / difficult, without distance hints. Fewer words, easier to follow if the user is new to notebooks. Technical notes OGG Vorbis, uniform volume throughout the package, with the length of each clip recorded in metadata so that the navigator's advance is correct. Russian Russian navigator's name and language follow the user's game language — "Mikhail (Russian)" in English, "Mikhail (Russian)" in Russian — through three new localization keys of their own. Nothing in the game is overwritten. No game file is replaced, and no path conflicts with other mods. Known limitations If the game update changes the navigator's set of phrases, the package will require an update. Requirements Credits: MiX3R88 |
