This map is based on a digital elevation model of National Road 28 and the surrounding area between Tyrawa-Włoska and Wujskie in the Podkarpackie Voivodeship, Poland, obtained using lidar with a resolution of 1 m.
The map is based on data from 2022-2024, as I visited the area during that period, and most of the references are based on street views and my notes.
It shows a 7-kilometer section of the mentioned National Road.
This map was originally created as a testing ground for the new world editor's tools, but it has evolved into a slightly more detailed project over time. I plan to use this map as a foundation for future similar and more detailed maps dedicated to Poland's mountain roads.
Due to technical limitations, I was unable to include a larger section of rural terrain that was blocked. This is because I had corrupted the color space of the elevation map, resulting in unrealistic elevation differences in that area, which would require re-drawing the map from scratch. I decided that it was better to release it in its current form than to abandon it.
