To allow maximum compatibility with third-party accessories that can attach to the trailer body, e. g. some painted reefer units, or lights. If you want to use a trailer with the default frame again, then simply disable this mod. It won't crash the game. If you use a trailer that uses the legacy, standalone custom accessories, then they will be missing from that trailer. Covers: - to all three types: dry van, insulated, and reefer trailers - all types of doubles and triples Future plans: - edit/replace the "exclusive" dolly bumpers - edit additional front and rear accessories, e. g. add a chromed frame to the regular door - maybe add additional attachment points to the edited bodies, rears, and bumpers – to allow the use of custom marker lights Note regarding legacy parts: I will keep the standalone chromed door and bumper as a legacy option to not crash anybody's game, in case they have it attached. But this mods now edits/replaces the original chromed door and "exclusive" bumper, too – to allow more compatibility with (third-party mod) accessories.
